    1. [MODUNKLI] Bailey burial or death lookup
    2. Linda Bailey
    3. I am fairly new to this list. Is there anyone out there who might have access to old newspapers or microfilm of newspapers and would be able & kind enough to do a lookup for a death announcement, obit for the following: . Gustavus L. BAILEY died 5 Mar 1898 in Dunklin Co. MO and Frances V. BAILEY died 1 Feb 1894 in Dunklin Co. MO Both are said to be buried near Senath. Both may have been teachers. I would also appreciate a lookup in the local cemetery records for them. I appreciate any help I can get. Since deaths were not recorded at this time, I have not been able to document these deaths of my husbands great grandparents. Also if you have any suggestions for me, I would appreciate that, too. You can contact me off line if you prefer. Thanks so much for any input you might have, Linda Bailey rebailey53v8@wowway.com

    3. Well Debbie I may be confused. Everything I am getting that is coming from the message board has that in the from area and I just go to the board to reply. 3. Norma I subscribe to 20 to 30 lists and this is one of about 5 that has the reply going not to one but two email address of which one bounces back constantly. The list administrators for the other lists have either removed the back address from the reply area or have the reply going back directly to the individual who submitted the message to the list. I know several other list administrators have posted to their lists that when the new system was put in place that they had to go in and spend between 30 and 60 minutes per list setting up the preferences. 3. Debbie I think that is how it is done now when a posting to the board is relayed to the list. You have to go there to reply. 2. Debbi Geer
    3. Back between 1969 and about 1982, Bobbie Hatton Richardson published a 6-volume series a good majority of the cemeteries in Dunklin Co. Liberty Cemetery is in Volume 2. She shows Etta's burial as being from the funeral home records - no stone found for her at the cemetery. There is no other Godby's buried there marked by a stone nor found in the funeral home records. This is not to say that Rowe wasn't buried there too next to her in an unmarked grave, but at least you might want to keep this in mind while you continue your research.
