    1. [MODunklin] Cemetery Look Up
    2. Mary Smith
    3. Hi, Don't know if anyone has published a book on who is buried in Dunklin County so will understand if no body responds. I am looking for a Nancy Ray/Kay. It looks like Ray on the census for 1920 but the index says Jay. She was born in MO and passed away between 1920 and 1930 possible. She was captured in the Palmer Smith Household in 1920 but was not there in 1930. I assume she passed away. She was born about 1863. I thought I found her in Mt Gilead Cemetery but the dates b. 1857 and d. 1937 are not as close as I think they should be. Take Care & God Bless Jim Smith Collinsville, IL

I will copy it as written and see what you come up with. "Family history of the family of David Shultz. David Weekley Shultz . Father of Francis and Robert Shultz and other children came from Germany with his parents when a small boy. and married mary Mclean. She being borned in Scotland. She being full blooded scotch. They moved from Weekly county, Tenn in 1822 and died near Hornersville about 1840. to their union was borned 9 children. Bettie, robert A. , F.M., Mack, Julia An, Calvin T. Chas B., Lottie, and Jim. Grandfather Shultz came from Germany and died at the age of 111 years being by great grandfather David Shultz my above grandfather died at the age of 90. T.J. Shultz this was taking from a statement of F.M. Shultz a short time before he died. Lance, this is as written. Now I have an F.M. Shultz that was living with T.J. on the 1920 census. He was born 11 June 1836 and died 19 Oct 1920. He was born in old Gainesville, Greene, Ark and died same place. His children were Thomas W. 1880-1942, R.C. Shultz (cullie), Murtie J., George L., William B., Edward P., and Perish. He probably was the son of David Weekly Shultz's F.M>. I don't think he was the son of David if you read the above statement. He referred to David as his grandfather and his greatgrandfather as David too. There was a David Shultz and David Shultz Jr living in Virginia around the 1790's to 1820's. Maybe??? My email address is [email protected] if you want to email direct. Also, don't know of any sheriff in Hornersville but Thomas Jeffersons son, Abner, was the sheriff in Kennett when I was a boy

It is a bit more complete than what I had....I did not know about Charles and the Civil War...will have to look into that... The gal you mentioned Barbara Branum Lynn...daughter of MIlt... Do you have her e mail or phone number.... I doubt I could find it under her name in the library unless she wrote a book or something like that... I know from the family records, that Milt was a cousin or someone very close to Della Branum, sister to Burnette. I would like to know who his father was......There was Milt, Tommy, Charles and one other I can't recall.... As far as David Weekly Shultz... I have him born about 1805 prob. of Weekly Co. Tenn. Show him marrying about 1825, prob. Weakly Co. Tenn....nothing else on him.. HIs wife shows as Mary McClane also born about 1805 prob. Weakly Co. Tenn. The only two children I show for them is Calvin who's info you have and Charles B(Bolliver) Schultz and he was in the history you sent me. I two have read the histories on him, he was quite an interesting man.... Two bad more could have not have been written about the rest of his siblings.... One last thing...for some reason family stories came down through this family that Burnette or Della had a brother named LEE that was Sherriff of Hornsville area... Have you ever heard anything about that? Thank you again for your info and if you have anything on Barabra , that would really help...Lance
