Hello , I am new to your list. I am wondering if by chance there are cemetery books or funeral home records for this area 1953-1955. I would like to find the name of the cemetery in or near Kennett ,where these two are buried; John SPRADLIN d. 1955 and his wife Maudie SPRADLIN d. 1953. ref. # of book, lot # and etc. Would there be a referance to which funeral home conducted the services? They were all in Malden, MO. the first of the month for a family reunion, but I couldn't go because of a death in the my family. I will be talking to a cousin this afternoon and hope that she can help me. I will keep at this until I get an address for you. Also I had computer trouble last week and I had to restart my AOL program. So yesterday I tried to reinstall my "Family Tree Maker" and I couldn't. So I need help with that first. I wish I could tell you more but I will try to get in touch with some of them to see if any of my cousins are working on their Baker family. I will get back to you. I will go to my "Family Tree Maker" to see if there is any info. on the Baker family in my Province family tree, as my Aunt married a Baker. He was very dark with black hair. As a very small child I believe we called my Uncle "Old Black Joe" that is all I remember about Uncle Joe. The Freeman are also related to me and some of them are from Clay County, AK. My Provance family lived in Campbell also at one time. I hope I am remembering right about what I just told you as much as I think I do.I don't know where any of my Baker cousins live.
