Could someone please tell me what county Gallatin was in abt 1862-65? Thanks Leatha

Leatha, Gallatin is in Daviess County located in northern Missouri. I just checked a history of the county, and Gallatin because its county seat in 1836. Thus, Gallatin would have been in Daviess County during the Civil War. Does that help?
