Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday (8 Nov. 1963) in the Memorial Chapel of the Barber Funeral Home with the Reverend Orville Stephens officiating. Concluding services will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery. Nancy Catherine Holt was born the daughter of John and Louisa SLUDER WOODS, born May 23, 1885, and died November 5, 1963, her age being 78 years, 5 months, 12 days. Many years ago she professed faith in Christ and became a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, She was united in marriage with Dow HOLT on February 1, 1902 and to them two sons and four daughters were born: Egbert Holt of Kansas City, KS; Leonard Holt of Mtn. Grove; Mrs. Ethel CHALOS of Dyer, IN; Mrs. Minnie BURKE of Mtn. Grove; Mrs. Stella REED of Brooklyn, NY; and Mrs. Alice BROWN of Springfield; 19 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. There are many close friends and other relatives who are saddened by the death of this loved one. NOTE: Lorenzo Dow HOLT was the son of William Marion HOLT and Talitha Catherine LATHROM.
