He was united in marriage to Verida Bell STARK June 6, 1915, and to this union, four children were born. Survivors include his wife, Verida Bell; 2 sons, Lester and Ralph, Jr., both of Norwood; two daughters, Joyce HANKS of Lynnwood, WA, and Barbara FROST of Kansas City; one sister, Ethel ANDERSON of Kansas City, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Norwood Assembly of God Church with Rev. Cris TYSON officiating. Pallbearers were Norman ANDERSON, Paul SUPPES, Ben SMITH, Bryan SNAVELY, Sherman GRAY, and Clifford LORETT. Burial was in the Oak Forest Cemetery (Douglas County). NOTE: Ethel ANDERSON was my great, great grandmother. Verida Bell STARKS (1897-1977) was the daughter of Essel STARKS and Nancy Elizabeth RYAN. Ralph's mother was Lucinda BIXLER THOMAS.
