He was born at Coldspring on June 5, 1901. Mr. GHEER is survived by his wife, the former Alice IRWIN, to whom he was married at Ava on Oct. 23, 1929; his step-mother, Mrs. Minnie GHEER, and a half-brother, Fleming GHEER, both of Brushyknob; five sons, A.L. of Springfield, Rolan of Davenport, IA, Harold and Ivy, both of Bettendorf, IA, and Leon of Amarillo, TX; and four grandchildren. Services will be at the Brushyknob Church at 2 pm Friday with the Rev. William SPINDLER of Springfield officiating. Burial will be in Oak Forest Cemetery (Douglas County).
