I have no dates for him, other than this marriage. If you have additional info on him, please contact me -- his mother is a sister to my ancestor. He was united in marriage with Ella Huffman at Ava, MO on Jan. 22, 191, who survives his passing. He is also survived by two sons, Ralph of Gary, IN, and Delmar of Wichita, KS; seven daughters, Mrs. Agnes KLINGENSMITH and Mrs. Verda NEDERMAN, Norwood, MO; Mrs. Juanita COLE and Mrs. Mary WALLACE of Gary, IN; Mrs. Blanche VANDALL, Peshastin, WA; Mrs. Grace HICKS, Baker, OR; and Mrs. Ellen SELLERS of Mountain Grove, MO. There are also 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother, Fred SMITH of Spencer, IN, other relatives and many close friends. Mr. and Mrs. SMITH came to Mountain Grove some eleven years ago where they have spent their retiring years. NOTE: Adolphus SMITH was the son of Charles Clem SMITH and Sarah Catherine FILER. They were married in Jasper County, IN in 1874 and had three children. Daughter Ellen married Elza SELLARS, son of Charles A. SELLARS and Minnie Alice WOODS.
