Margaret's parents were Cornelius Collins and Docia Ann Barton who settled in Douglas County. William Robert believed to be the son of William Lotrip and Margaret Hatfield. They may have been the parents of three boys, John, Steve, and William Robert - all born in the 1880's. John and Steve apparently stayed in Douglas County, William Robert and his wife, "Peggy", moved on to Howell County where their name changed to "Lowtrip". Seeking verification of this family - information on the last name, whether Lathrop or Lowtrip, and if William Robert was related to John and Steve Lathrop. Thank you.
