Everyone, Debbie Linton, who has been the coordinator for the USGenWeb's page for Douglas County, asked me if I would take over those duties, and I have agreed to do so. Both the web page and the mailing list are now under my administration. Bear with me as I try to learn the ropes. Presently, I don't have any great changes in mind for the page, but I hope to build the database of available resource materials over the coming months. Also, I'm truly the type of person who welcomes suggestions and comments about the information I provide, and I can even handle criticism as long as it is constructive. I'm a native of Douglas County but left there in 1957 at the age of 12-still I have a passion for the place, in part, because I have dozens of ancestors who lived and died there, some going back to the 1830s. I have been actively researching the county's history for the past ten years, and I help the Douglas County Historical and Genealogical Society with its semi-annual Journals. In the near future, I'll try to put a short bio on the page to let you know a little more about me. I know several people on the mailing list and I hope to meet more in the future. Welcome Cousin, I am sure you will do a great job. Nancy
Welcome Kenneth: You have been a wonderful help to me in the past and I look forward to more contacts in the future. I'm sure you'll learn the ropes quickly. Good luck!
