The Directions for the Dobbs Cemetery from Ava are: Go East from the square of Ava on Highway 14. turn right on the dirt road about 1/2 mile before you come to the junction of 14 and Highway AB. The Cemetery lies 4 tenth of a mile down the dirt road on the right side and is enclosed with woven wire fence. Land was deeded by Lucinda Bragg Trail Dobbs November 8, 1912 and another 1/2 acre by Bernie and Josie Hatfield Miller on November 5, 1937. ( Lucinda Bragg Trail Dobbs was the second wife of William Trail, and also the second wife of Joseph Dobbs). Josie Hatfield Miller was the sister of Malissa Hatfield Trail who married Scott, the son, of William Trail and Amanda Upchurch.
