Delila Rebecca Riley Sweeten b. Riley Cemetery, Fox Creek, Ozark Co., MO. Her father was Zachariah Riley b. ca 1790 VA. d. ca 1865 mother was Mary Gibson b. ca 1796 d. ca 1822 Clay Co. KY. Zachariah's father was Patrick Riley. Mary's father William Gibson b. 25 Dec 1753 Berkeley Co., SC. d. 9 April 1835 Boone Co., Indiana Mary's mother Nancy Roark b. 1 June 1780 d. 15 Jan 1843 Boone Co., Indiana children of William and Delila Sweeten: Mary, b. 2 May 1834 Indidna, Catherine b. 19 June 1837 Indiana, Margaret Polly b. 1839 Illinois, Absolum 1844. William Sweeten was the son of Absolum Sweeten b. between 1761-1770 VA. I have not found anyone who can go back farther that this Absolum Sweeten and no one seems to know his wife. Not much is known about him.
