Good question. I'm trying to locate it also. I think it was called Ottomen, and I think the location where it was located is now in Howell county. To my knowledge, that area was never part of Douglas county, but I could be wrong about that. The town was shown on an 1889 map in the NW part of the Howell county, which would be close to Douglas county.
