Beach -- Joe O. Beach 88, of Ava, Mo., a former St. Charles resident, died Friday (Feb. 18, 2000) at Cox Hospital South in Springfield, Mo. Mr. Beach was a retired truck driver for Roadway in St. Louis, where he drove for 22 years. Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nieburg-Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, 2700 West Clay Street, St. Charles. Among survivors are three daughters, Patricia Beach, Cheryl Beach, and Debra Honerkamp, all of Ava, Mo.; two sons, Vernon Beach of Warrenton and Donald Beach of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Velman Clark of the state of Washington and Genola Hallrh of St. Charles; a brother, Bennie Pendleton of Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
