I have copied the Norwood Index newspapers from 1927 to 1931. I am willing to do lookups for people looking for specific information. For example, if you want me to look for an obituary for Vesta Anderson, and you know she died in February 1931, I will look in February and March, and if I find it, I'll send it to you. I CANNOT do a general lookup for "anyone named Anderson" -- I need a rough date and a specific person, as this is not indexed. Kristi, Could you please look up Margaret Ann Goodman to see if she is listed in the index? She died 2 June 1928. Thanks, Linda Benson

Any information you have that might be contacted to these individuals would be appreciated. Thanks. LaDonna

I know very, very little about the YOUNG family. I'm trying to determine if the YOUNG family of Douglas County, MO, and the YOUNG family of Ozark County, MO, were related. If so, I'd like to know how they are related. I have been told that Nancy Angeline YOUNG LOW was a daughter of R. Silas YOUNG and Sarah J. HOUSE YOUNG. Silas and Sarah J. YOUNG appeared on the 1880 census in Douglas County, MO, while their daughter, Nancy Angeline YOUNG LOW appeared with her husband, Francis Marion LOW, and two of their children in Ozark County, MO. One of those children was Melissa LOW who married Wilbur CARTER. On the 1900 Ozark County census, Wilbur and Melissa were living in Nancy and Marion LOW's household. I'd like very much to learn what happened to them. I have not been able to find them on subsequent census records. I would like to know if Nancy YOUNG LOW had any siblings and, if so, who they were. I'm sorry, but the surname MISHLER is not familiar to me. Good luck in your search. Mrs. Zella G. (Strong) DePasse E-mail: gstrong6@juno.com

I noticed my mistake when I got the magnifying glass and looked at that census a little better. Actually I am looking for an Arch Spurlock who married Francis Frazier. All I know is that she is said to have married and moved away with Arch to another state but I have no idea which one. The Fraziers were from Stone and Christian Counties. If you can shed any light on them I would appreciate the info. Thank you again. Mary
