Happy New Year A couple of weeks ago there was a website that came on one of the messages that showed pictures of Carthage, Mo schools and pictures of Cave Springs School between Sarcoxie and LaRussell, Mo. I am not sure if they were combined or two different sites. The Cave Springs pictures included some of my family. I would like for the gentleman who has the web site to write to me if possible. I can name some of the children in the pictures and I would love to have copies of the ones showing my family. Please write to me at: genalgc@aol.com Thank You Carole

She married Orley Egbert HOLT (1907-1979, son of Lorenzo Dow HOLT and Nancy Catherine WOODS) in 1926 in Douglas County. I believe her grandfather to be James PENNINGTON (1847-1934). Thank you! Kristi

I've tried unsuccessfully to trace Mary's whereabouts about her first husband, William MC Reid, died in April 1866. I assumed that she remarried since she was only about 28 when she was widowed, but I haven't found any marriage records for a Mary Reid that seems to match her. May I ask the source of your information that she remarried to a Stephens? Did she remarry in Douglas Co? And when you say that Mary "signed for her brother" James in the context of civil war records, what do you mean by that? Thanks, John Reid P.O. Box 7164 Libertyville IL 60048
