She was born 16 October 1870 in Douglas County, M0. and died 19 May 1952 in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was the daughter of Nelson J. and Olive Manning Dyer. The birth dates of her children lead me to believe that she married the elusive Mr. Burgin about 1886. Her children are: Hugh Ellsworth-born 27 Oct. 1887, Ulysses- born Sep. 1889, Cordelia-born April 1891, Joseph F.-born March 1893, James A.-born February 1894, Edith-born October 1897, and William-born 13 June 1902. This family moved to the Pittsburg, Kansas area and Joseph was killed in a mining accident there. William was born in Ava in 1902 indicating that the family was back in Douglas County at that time. I am trying to learn who Macy Ann's husband was and what connection there is between him and James C. Burgin and Dennis A. Burgin who homesteaded near the Basher community. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not seen him or heard from him since 1963 and I was trying to locate him if he is still alive. I have located a obituary of a man named Frank Lethcoe who died in west Va, And I do not have any way of knowing if that's him.
