Sherman was the son of John T. Coble and Nettie Collins. Their children were Johnnie, James Wilburn, Grover and Myrtle. Are these included in your research? I would like to know something about them if so. That's all I know about them as far as the Coble side goes. Thanks, Barbara

Try this link. http://mosl.sos.state.mo.us/rec-man/archives/resources/bdrecords/records.html But it looks like the deaths are 1886 to 1904 same thing for births. Also I don't believe those are complete. I don't know how active the Douglas County Society is now, but I found many books put together by them several years ago about familys and such at the University of Missouri - archives in Columbia. Johnson in Douglas Co., MO (I believe it was about 1905-6) Charley V. and my g gf, John Andrew Johnson were brothers--2 of the many children of John Daniel Johnson (borned in Denmark) and Caroline Phillips. Charley V. and Lucille Smith Johnson moved to CA. Do you know whether this may be the Lucille in the list of children you gave for Garret Clinton and Catherine Morgan Smith? If it is your Lucille Smith, please let me know!     3. I am trying to straighten out my Harmon Clintons. I have a Harmon born 1825, married Charity Brooks, son John H. This Harmon appears to be brother to Jenkins, Robert, Hiram Elias and possibly Augustus, sons of William Clinton but must be by a first wife. Then there is Harmon born 1863, son of Augustus, married to Lou Emma Collins. I have another Harmon, born 1868, son of Aaron Clinton and Rebecca Hood. Does this square with others on this list?

    3. Is there anyone out there that is related to Sarah Lawrence Jessey who is listed as the third wife of my 2nd gr. grandfather, Nelson J. Dyer on his Civil War pension papers? He died 17 Feb 1924 and is buried in Dyer Cemetery, Douglas Co. MO. I do not know when Sarah died or where she is buried. She may have been the widow of Stehpen Jessey and may have been from the Rome, MO area. They may have been married in Springfield or elsewhere in Greene Co. MO. Thanks in advance for any help. Helen
