    3. Hello everyone! I have been reading, with interest, the opinions regarding family history, good and not so good. We are all entitled to our opinions, as previous posts display. The Douglas County Mailing List has some of the most considerate and caring researchers that I have had the privilege to meet on the net. We are here to help each other!!! Let's relax, accept our difference of opinions, and share our research with each other! Debbie Linton Mailing List Admininistrator

    2. Hi List! This may really be the wrong list where some one was tracking Cornelious but I just stumbled across Elisha Cornelius in Whitley Co., KY getting 50 acres 10/09/1841 along Marrs Cr. If you need more details full context at ancestry.com. Just let me know if you don't find the entry and aren't able to pull up the complete text of the land document. Beth Peck Cooper

    3. This topic should be taken off line immediately. I don't care about the 'scoup' on anybody else's family and I doubt most researchers do. However, I am sure there are black sheep in most families. To ignore this and only compile the 'wonderful' things is not a true representation of their history. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gail Brown" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, May 05, 2001 7:41 PM Subject: Re: [MODOUGLA-L] Strong Ties > I also agree that we do not need to be digging scoops on our Douglas County > ancestors.
