In looking at a copy of a Cass Twp. 1880 census, it shows the first daughter of Thos. and Elizabeth Hutchison as "Cynthia A." Somehow, it shows up in my records as Cynthia Arnold Hutchison. Five will get you ten this is your Cynthia, but I have no account of who she married or when she died.
I forgot to say also that Arsulie is buried in the Denlow Cemetery, Row 26.
I just located my pages from the Cass Twp. 1880 Census, and it looks like Thomas and Elizabeth's 2nd child could have been an "Arsulie." I can't quite make it out, but she would have been born in 1877. the first daughter was Cynthia A., who was 6, then Arsulie, 3, and Samantha 1. I've been searching for who she belonged to for some time. She was born Sep 14,1877; d. July 9, 1907. (Dau. of B. & E. Hutchison)
How does this Hutchison fit into the Denlow Hutchisons? The Rootsweb list of Missouri marriages shows Everett Hutchison married "Gertrude." I've been told this is Gertrude Alsup, b. 1905. They had 4 children and lived in Mountain Grove. Everett and Gertrude are buried in the Denlow Cemetery along with a bunch of my Hutchisons, Ida Jane, George and Florida, James and Mary, William S., Mary J. and Samantha J., Margaret, and Sarah Jane (James) to name a few. Who are Everett's parents?
Thanks so much! Will check this out right away.
Go to MOGenWeb, map, Douglas Co., then look for either a census, or lookup volunteer. Go to [email protected] for cemetery info. Good luck. Let me know if you're successful.
I am researching my Bean family in Ava, Douglas County, from 1854 to 1910. Would you mind telling me how to access the Douglas Co. Census for 1880 to help me with my search. Sorry I cannot identify the townships in that area. I am located in MD. I do have a phone number for their local Historian. If you are interested, please respond.
Is Samuel buried in Douglas County? I have been told of two more children, Clarence & Zachie. My husband's line is Hubert. Is this family in the 1900 Census? Do you know where Martha's family is from? Thank you!
Joyce, We have These same Pruitt's in my husbands family. How are you related. I would like to exchange data with you. Darlene
I have March 15, 1869 as the birthdate for my Samuel Hutchison, d. May 30, 1939 in Cold Springs, Mo. m. Martha L. Fugate Aug 3, 1890, daughter of Unknown Fugate and Indiana Dudley. The had 8 children: Clove, Daisy, Faye, Alvin, Russell, Lola, George, and Hubert.
I learned Cold Springs is in Champion or McMurtery Townships and Denlow is in Cass twp. Unfortunately, two of those twps. hadn't been put online, so my search was futile. But tell me more about your "Denlow Hutchisons." My ggrandfather was James Sheridan Hutchison, so was my grandather; my father was Jule Jason Hutchison.
Do you have a spouse or any children for [email protected] 1870? Thank you!
My husband is related to these Douglas County Hutchisons -- I would love to know what you find out!
Dear Myrna, Thanks for the information. That is a GREAT site. I have learned a lot about the Alsup family. Thanks, Linda
In response to the message from Janie Luster - Do you know if John James Haynes born in Arno, Douglas Co, Mo had brothers? My great grandfather William J. Haynes was born in Arno in 1856. I believe his mother was Mary (Butler). I can't find his father's name. He was raised by an aunt Luvica (Butler) Huffman Clark. I would appreciate any information.
Not to many queries on the Dooms name and was curious if you might have any Orrs married into your family group. On March 7, 1920 a Hettie Orr married a S.R. Dooms Douglas County, Mo. I do not know if Orr is her married name or maiden and any information would be appreciated. I relay and exchange all my information.

Andrew Jackson Morrow and his wife Agnes Clinton were listed in the 1860 Douglas Co. census with 2 year old daughter Frances and 6 month old son James. Does anyone know how he is related to James Aulne Morrow who was in Taney Co. at the same time. Thanks, Ruth in Ca.
Nancy, The tree you are describing is mine. I have spoken with Kathy Turner ( Ava ), who is the daughter of Fred Haynes. Are you also related? Dan
Is this marriage Richard and Margaret or Richard and Harriett? What was the date? Thank you.
