    1. [MODOUGLA] Re: Thomas Hutchison
    2. In looking at a copy of a Cass Twp. 1880 census, it shows the first daughter of Thos. and Elizabeth Hutchison as "Cynthia A." Somehow, it shows up in my records as Cynthia Arnold Hutchison. Five will get you ten this is your Cynthia, but I have no account of who she married or when she died.

    1. [MODOUGLA] Re: Thomas Hutchison
    2. I just located my pages from the Cass Twp. 1880 Census, and it looks like Thomas and Elizabeth's 2nd child could have been an "Arsulie." I can't quite make it out, but she would have been born in 1877. the first daughter was Cynthia A., who was 6, then Arsulie, 3, and Samantha 1. I've been searching for who she belonged to for some time. She was born Sep 14,1877; d. July 9, 1907. (Dau. of B. & E. Hutchison)

    1. [MODOUGLA] Everett Hutchison
    2. How does this Hutchison fit into the Denlow Hutchisons? The Rootsweb list of Missouri marriages shows Everett Hutchison married "Gertrude." I've been told this is Gertrude Alsup, b. 1905. They had 4 children and lived in Mountain Grove. Everett and Gertrude are buried in the Denlow Cemetery along with a bunch of my Hutchisons, Ida Jane, George and Florida, James and Mary, William S., Mary J. and Samantha J., Margaret, and Sarah Jane (James) to name a few. Who are Everett's parents?

    2. I am researching my Bean family in Ava, Douglas County, from 1854 to 1910. Would you mind telling me how to access the Douglas Co. Census for 1880 to help me with my search. Sorry I cannot identify the townships in that area. I am located in MD. I do have a phone number for their local Historian. If you are interested, please respond.

    1. [MODOUGLA] Re: HUTCHISON, 1880 Census
    2. I learned Cold Springs is in Champion or McMurtery Townships and Denlow is in Cass twp. Unfortunately, two of those twps. hadn't been put online, so my search was futile. But tell me more about your "Denlow Hutchisons." My ggrandfather was James Sheridan Hutchison, so was my grandather; my father was Jule Jason Hutchison.

    2. In response to the message from Janie Luster - Do you know if John James Haynes born in Arno, Douglas Co, Mo had brothers? My great grandfather William J. Haynes was born in Arno in 1856. I believe his mother was Mary (Butler). I can't find his father's name. He was raised by an aunt Luvica (Butler) Huffman Clark. I would appreciate any information.
