I am searching for info on Emma Beason/Beeson. She lived in Springfield from 1860 until 1870. That is the last that I have seen her. She lived with her grandparents and uncle Nancy Russell, Lewis Russell, Her Brother Allen Beason and a cousin named something Davis. Anything would be good. Mary Beason

Thanx to all for the input on Henry Woods. Maybe the unmarked graves contains the remains of Sarah and John. Appreciate all of your responses. Laine Sutherland noted a grave for Henry WOODS, 7 Mar 1795-23 Sept 1898. Nothing for a Sarah WOOD, but she noted several unmarked graves. Linda - I think I misread your original question. There is a John Henry Wood buried in Mt Ararat Cemetery: John Henry Wood Jan 8, 1873 - Apr 15, 1865 He is beside Christena May Wood Oct 31, 1876 - Sept 19, 1960 I feel pretty confident in the dates as we took two separate readings of each cemetery to make sure we had not misread dates and names. My apologies for the confusion, Laine > Laine, Thanks for the info. We knew that Sarah and Henry were buried there > they are my 3great grandparents. Linda, My cousin, her husband and I published a book, "Gone But Not Forgotten, Cemetery Survey of the Eastern District of Douglas County, Mo" in 1995. We show a tombstone for: Henry Woods Mary 7, 1795 -- Sept 23, 1898 but nothing for Sarah. There is an unmarked gravestone (large fieldstone) next to his tombstone so one might suspect she is buried next to him but didn't have tombstone. Sorry I couldn't help more.
