I wondering why there is not a reunion in or around Salem, Dent County, MO. I personally visited there last year and found it lovely in the spring time. I think that would be of more interest then going to Maryland? I'm sorry but I don't see the connection. There are county maps showing grave yards, which I found of interest. I didn't realize that the Blackwell Cemetery was actually on the original property owned by William Blackwell, who lived in the first brick house in Dent County. I also found the county records to be of interest. They have all the original wills, that you can view and have a copy made of if you like. I understand it is a small town, but why go to Maryland for a Dent County Reunion? Do you realize that a lot of family, that settled the area, still live there. It is a different kind of living from the big city, but studying genealogy, which is what this is about, would be better studied on site. This is my opinion.
