His gr. gr. grandfather was James Sylvester Nelson, his gr. grandfather was John Z. T. Nelson. Don't think James Sylvester and John Z. T. Neslon are related to the Nelson family you mentioned. There were two different sets of Nelson families who lived in Dent Co., MO.
