    3. Still digging for my elusive g-grandmother, and I'm following up on a new clue. I have found a census record that shows John and Mary DRUMMONS in ARK in 1860, and they could be the right age in the right place at the right time. I do know that my g-grandmother, Nancy was born in ARK in 1864 and moved to either Rolla or Salem as a child around Civil War time; I'm inclined to believe it was Rolla. I've been told that Nancy's dad died and her mother married a NICHOLS or NICKLES before leaving ARK, and that they came to Rolla to stay with family. The mother's maiden name is supposed to be SULLIVAN. So does anyone know of a Mary NICHOLS or Mary DRUMMONS in Rolla or Salem, or of a Nancy DRUMMONS (my g-grandmother)? Nancy also had siblings William (Bill) DRUMMONS and Mollie (she may have married a RIESANGER). I'll take anything at this point - leads on DRUMMONS, SULLIVAN, NICHOLS, or just any old name you want to throw out there! Here's what I sort-of know about Nancy (some confirmed but not much): Nancy Angeline DRUMMONS, born 1864 in ARK. Married (1) Jim DEEN, children Sarah (born 1882 in Salem) and Ida. Married (2) Felix GOAD, child William Oscar (born 1884 in Sligo). Married (3) George HAMPTON in 1886. Nancy died about 1909 in Butler County. Ida DEEN married George AUSTIN, both died in 1927. Sarah (Sadie) Deen married George T. HAMPTON before 1900, she died in 1968 in Poplar Bluff. William Oscar Goad married (1)Nora Jones, (2)Augusta Hibbitts. He died in 1962 in St. Francois County. thanks! Terry __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo! Music Experience http://launch.yahoo.com
