I am looking for any info on a William Thornton and Elizabeth Thornton who received land grants in the later 1830 time frame. This is all I know about them except I have been told that they were from TN. We have "lost" our William Thornton of TN and I noticed that some similar names were found in Dent county to ours. Coppage, Jones, Bowman and some more. Thanks Perry Goss
