A John Solomon Crabtree born abt 1808 in Ky. married to Elizabeth Brown born abt. 1814 in Ky. A Job Crabtree born abt. 1825 in Tenn. or Ind. married to Elizabeth Dugan born abt. 1826 in Tenn. A Moses Crabtree born abt. 1833 in Ind., married to Nancy Parker born abt. 1833 in Ky. or Mo.(married in Dent Co., 1852) A Giles Crabtree born abt. 1823 in Tenn., married to Hulda Enlow in Jasper Co., Ill. Apr. 4, 1843 John Crabtree and John Solomon are listed on the 1840 census for Jasper Co., Ill., living beside each other. John Crabtree, is on the 1850 census for Shannon Co., Mo. living in his house is Moses Crabtree, and John Solomon is living beside Job...On the 1860 Dent County, Mo. census, John Sr., Job and Moses are living side by side and Hulda Crabtree lives 2 houses away.... I think , but haven't prove that John Crabtree is the father of Solomon, Giles, Moses and Job... I have had no luck in locating Moses after the 1860 census, or Hulda and her children except Solomon her son. Most of these Crabtree's deid in Dent County, Mo. ...Bobbie Lou
