Norma is survived by her husband, Walter Freeman of Cuba, Missouri; two children, Lawrence Baker of Rolla, Missouri and James Baker of Cuba, Missouri. Two sisters, Mickey Messler of Fenton, Missouri and Delores Cooksey of Salem, Missouri; two brothers, Rex Goad of Salem, Missouri and Samuel H. Goad of Salem, Missouri. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Arthur Baker and one brother Carl Goad. Norma will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services for Norma Lee Freeman were held June 12, 2002 in the Spencer Chapel in Salem with Rev. Rod Farthing officiating. Carol Carmack provided piano music. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Goad, Scott Shook, Ronnie Cooksey, Dennis Cooksey, Richard Cooksey, Jimmy L. Baker. Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with all arrangements under the direction of the Spencer Funeral Home. [Rprinted w/permission - Steelville Star]
