Two of his children married into my family tree: Sylvester E. Wells married Margaret Melinda Bryant in 1876 and William Riley Wells married Lucy Jane Welch in 1883. Your Thomas may be a cousin of their's. I'll try to find more about your Thomas and his family. I also have a Francis family connection. I'd love to hear from you and share more information.

You need a lttle more information, I'll give you what I have. Maude was born approx. in 1895, the fifth child of Joseph A. Doty (family Bible has middle name as Aaron) and Martha Jane Fortner ( also spelled Fortener). Maude married Madison Callahan sometime between 1910 and 1920. Maude's other siblings are: Martha Jane McDonald (Doty), Nancy Chalotte Doty, Lydia A. Sutton (Doty), Archie L. Doty, Myrtle Sutton (Robinson) (Doty), William (Fred) Doty and William T. Doty. She is the older sister of my grandfather, William (Fred) Doty. He was born in 1902. I know that Maude attened Fred's funeral in 1946. She is listed in attendance with three daughters. I have Maude passing in 1965 and Jamison in 1970. Anything you may have on Jamison and Maude or their children would be great. I basically know nothing about them. His Father was Rev Samuel Nickles. Don't know if you have found any further information on this subject. But, I know that John Henry was married to Josephine "Josie" Luster. There's a story my Grandfather told me that goes, "One day, John Henry told Josie he was going to the store to buy a loaf of bread. He didn't return for 25 years. Upon his return one day to Josie's home he stated, 'You know the darndest thing happened, they were out of bread." At this point, I don't know of his where abouts for those 25 years. I do know that Josephine never divorced him, yet never let him move back in to her home. She allowed John Henry to live on some property she bought in Washington, MO and that is where he died. John Swiney was married three times: 1st. to Mary Eliza Thompson, 22 Dec. 1878, no childern listed. 2nd. to Elizabeth Polk, no date, showing 4 childern, only date is for John Franklin Swinwy B:25 Jan 1885, also a son James, no dates. 3rd. to Hattie Miner, 5 childern, 1st born 26 may 1897. Only Richardson on my list is James Richardson who married Annie Flowers b. ABT 1866 Father: Shadwicker Flowers Mother: Susan Swiney I have not been working my tree very long. but have about 3000 names mostly Swiney, Bay, Highley, and Thompson.
