I am related to Lavina J. NOAH (McMurtrey), who was a younger sister to Harriet NOAH. I would be interested in any information you might have on HARRIET NOAH and JOHN CLARK.. I'm sorry I can't help you with your request for information, as shown below. Brenda Dirks Walz was kind enough to share her publication "Noah's Ark", with me several years ago. July ?, 1876 d. between late June- end of Dec. 1900, Sheridan Township, Daviess Co, MO. She was 24 at the time of her death and was a milliner and co-partner in a store in either Windsor or Altamont with a woman by the name of Margaret Jones. The name of the store was Jones and Clark. Phebe was the daughter of John Lewis Clark and Harriet Noah Clark. She served as executor on her mother's estate (ca. Fall/Winter, 1896) until her untimely death. She is last seen living with Margaret Jones & family along with her younger sister, Ester in the 1900 census which was taken in the spring of 1900. I would like to confirm that the shop existed (would have been after 1885-ish to 1890-ish I believe) and I would also like to get a copy of her obit if possible to find out where she is buried. Can anyone help me out?
