AMEON79 - you are fast and accurate. Rebecca (Becca) Mallory was my mother. Lloyd did, indeed, marry Gladys Higdon from Gentry County in 1919, and they moved to Griggsville, Pike County, Illinois where they were enumerated in the 1920 census with daughter Maxine. According to 1923 Divorce papers filed by Gladys in Pike County, Lloyd abandoned her and daughter Maxine in 1922. Those papers were served on Loyd in McFall, Gentry County. Then, in 1923, there is a marriage in Pattonsburg between Loyd Mallory and Iva Mae Brinnen, approved by Iva's mother Dora Brinnen. This is the point at which I lose Loyd. I can't find him in the 1930 census, or in any other documents. My mother always said that the family never knew what happened to him. I was hoping that someone in Daviess County would remember Loyd or Iva Mae Brinnen to help me trace what happened to them. -----Original Message----- From: modavies-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:modavies-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of AMEON79@aol.com Sent: Friday, May 02, 2008 7:01 PM To: modavies@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MODAVIES] Loyd Mallory - Iva Mae Brinnen - Dora Brinnen He registered for the WW1 draft 9-12-1918 and states his nearest relative is J.W.
