I have a Daviess County marriage license showing that Loyd Mallory and Iva Mae Brinnen were married in Pattonsburg on 2 Aug 1923. The license states that Iva Mae was 17 years old, and her mother, Dora Brinnen, provided a "written assent" for the marriage. I believe this Lloyd Mallory was the son of James and Minerva Mallory, my grandparents, who were living in Pattonsburg in 1917. If that is the case, then Loyd was born in 29 Aug 1899 in nearby Dekalb County. I can't find Loyd or Iva in the 1930 census, and wonder if anyone on this Mailing List recognizes them. Richard Sanders
