    3. If you go to the state archives, you will find online his death certificate: Jesse was the son of Jacob McCOY and Sarah OWENS [both born in Illinois]... He was born in Illinois on Jul 18 1847... he's bur. at Hickory Creek Cemetery. He d. Feb 8 1923. Go to: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ and you can get a copy of his death certificate... let me know if you need census.
