Here's an idea for searching in a needle in a haystack.., Have you tried going to the MO death certificates, putting in the 1st 2 letters [or however many letters of the surname you know] and seach just for that county? THEN, go to all the males to see if you can find a son who lists his parents.. one being your couple. I'd start out with those whose last names come closest to what might be, and sift out through there.. EXAMPLE: Nancy JOBE married Robert (?Staur, Stone or Stow?) Feb 21, 1845 Ripley Co., MO. The question is: "What is Robert's last name and where are they in 1850?" By doing the above search, one can find children and grandchildren of couples in your database...I've done this a couple of times, and found some real finds! Lanita
