My Brown family of Daviess ( & Harrison) County were the Quakers from Bucks Co., Penna, Frederick Co., VA, Surry Co., NC, Preble Co., Ohio, Henry Co. Ind, -- Missouri and beyond. They followed the Quaker migration from Pa, to Va to NC to Ohio, to Indiana. They seem to have left the Quaker faith after moving to Missouri. Moses & Elizabeth (Hadley) Brown and most of their families came to Daviess county from Henry Co., Indiana in 1839 in a wagon train consisting of the Brown and Peter Dowell families.
