I found this on the USGenWeb for said county: "EVERLY CEMETERY" Followed by this disclaimer: "This information is taken from a poor photocopy. Please be aware it may contain errors as some of the letters are difficult to decipher." Followed by: "Manuel C. A. Co. M. 4 Prov. E. N. Mo. Mil." The entry format displayed other areas, such as dates, but there were no dates in this source. I am wondering whether or not this is the Charles Albert MANUEL that you speak of. Additionally, it seems that you may have a connection with the Charles Albert MANUEL, as you stated that he was the brother of David, etc. I am looking for that connection and other data that you may have on the Charles A. MANUEL and wife Nancy Fanning. If this Charles A. MANUEL, is in fact the brother of the individuals to which you speak of, then he is the son of a Chandler and Betsy / Besty / Eliz / Mary (YOUNG) MANUEL. I have seen the spelling various ways. I am trying to see if this family, Charles and Nancy are related to the family of Chandler. Any help, or information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am the Great Great Great Grandson of David & Susan* (CORSER / COURSER) MANUEL. I believe that Chandler is the older brother of Gardner, Wilder, and Lucinda MANUEL, all known siblings of David and Susan, i.e., sourced data. *Susan's name has various spellings, e.g. Susanna, Susana, Susannah, etc., and some spell her last name as COURSER, in lieu of CORSER. She is the daughter of Asa and Jane (FITZGERALD) CORSER / COURSER.
