And I've seen so many misunderstandings online that I tend to walk on eggs when questioning other people's info. Life's too short to make it any messier than it has to be. A couple of us were working with a researcher a few years back on a mutual Roberts line. The one guy was doing some serious digging back east; courthouses, cemeteries, and such but he was SO obnoxious we were glad when he finally sent what he entitled "Rocky's Final Assessment." So far as he was concerned he had put everyone in their proper places and that was the end of it. He even got a little testy because we were looking at HIS particular branch's collaterals -- like why should we care about them, they weren't OUR families! Almost as if he were hiding something. He was a case. Said he was a former private detective. If I ever run across another one I'll be on guard, let me tell ya. By the way, I liked your tagline about sharing your ignorance. Don't we all?
