They resided in Lawrence Co., KY, then moved to Daviess Co., MO. By 1870, they had returned to Lawrence Co., but then moved back to Daviess Co., MO. Madison & Rebecca had children: 1. James Granville Stewart m. Sarah 2. Nancy Frances Stewart m1. William Leach m2. Joseph Talley (Talley is one of my lines) 3. Serilda Stewart m. McGuire (They should have been living in KY in 1870, but I cannot locate them. Nor can I locate Serilda or her children after 1880.) 4. Leander Madison Stewart m. Annie Mirinda McCoy 5. Missouri A. Stewart m. Jno. H. Blankenship (Blankenship is one of my lines - Jno. possibly s/o Greenville & Mary Ann (Ellison) Blankenship.) 6. George F. Stewart Following Rebecca's death, Madison remarried to Mary Jane Johnson, widow of Mr. Stephens. Madison & Mary Jane had 1 son, Warren, b. 6 Jun 1890.
