The notation for the children, James and Daniel, should be s/o G.W. & P, although her middle initial was either F or A. The notation for Permelia Blankenship--w/o George Ware--should be w/o George W. Axe. Permelia married George W. Axe on 17 Jan 1878 in DeKalb County, Missouri. Her brother, James M. Blankenship, married George's sister, Fanny Loretta Axe, on 23 Feb 1876, also in DeKalb County. In Dekalb County records, the surname is also spelled Ax, Axx, and Axxe. If anyone has any information on George, Fanny, their families, descendants, their mother, Mary S. McMaster(s) White, their stepfather, Abel D. White, their half-brothers, John White (b. abt 1865 in IN)and Lewis White (b. abt 1868 in IN), and/or their maternal grandparents, John and Mary McMaster(s), I would appreciate hearing from you!!
