    3. I didn't thinkto check when I was in Daviess Co last week if the library has the newspaper on film. I am looking for obits on D.C. Paxton d. Dec 30 1904 and his wife C.J. Paxton d. Feb 1 1908. D.C. is listed as Doc C. in some documents and I think he has used a middle name of Cunningham. He and his wife are buried in the Hickory Creek Cem. He has some connection to my gggrandfather William Paxton whose burial place we have not located yet. Also missing is the burial place of my ggrandmother Mary (Paxton) Dawson. We have plans to come back to Daviess Co. later this summer and check out some other obscure cemeteries that a locate farmer has offered to help find. William owned land northeast of Jameson and that is where we are concentrating our effort. The land was in the NE area of East Grand River off route K near the three bridges. For those of you who plan on visiting Daviess Co I found the people at the library very helpful. The went out of their way to help me locate the Hickory Creek cemetery. I had been there once before but it had been several years ago. Leon RAOGK Volunteer.
