Apparently, his wife died, and Charles A. Manuel married Nancy Fannin, in 1865. Charles Albert Manuel, is buried at Everly Cemetery, Daviess County, Missouri. A woman named Lula Mann, has researched some of the Manuel family and the descendants, and has placed various findings here on the Daviess County site on RootsWeb. She did not list any sources for further research by others that may have interest. Richardson had his Post Office in the store. Then came a space and then Charley Manuel Saloon, then a space and Aiken Dry Goods and Saloon then a space and a Drug Store which might be Jas. A. McAdoo or he might have come a little later." _________ HAMILTON MERCHANTS IN 1868-69 Narrator: Irving Harper, 72, of Hamilton, Missouri "Back of the depot to the north, was the original Main Street, already in 1869 losing its prestige.
