According to the Texas Death Index the only Harley Booker that died in Texas was in 1968 in Bexar County, probably San Antonio. It is not impossible that your Harley Booker died in Texas but it is unlikely. John Chapman Austin, Texas modavies-request@rootsweb.com wrote: Today's Topics: 1. That info can be found at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~modavies/cemetery/davicem.htm I checked the 1922 History Book and the 1882 History Book, and no BOOKERs are found. I also checked the death certificates found online, and there were no BOOKERS who died in Daviess co. The MO death certificates for 1910-1956 are online at: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/#search you might try going in the back door and seeing if you can find his brothers' certificates or death info. Those certificates will tell who their parents were including the maiden name of their mother. I checked the 1920 and 1930 Daviess Co. Census, and they are not in Daviess Co. Closest for the family name is in Dunklin Co., MO and Chariton Co., MO. In 1930, there is a soldier by the name of Harley BOOKER found in San Antonio, TX, at Fort Sam Houston, born in 1905 in MO [single]; and one in AZ, b. 1895 in Indiana [married].. Unless he died after 1976, he's listed in Daviess Co., MO. Lanita Sconce Smith Daviess Co., MO Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The bookers in dunklin co. in the 1920 and 1930's are our booker line. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
