FYI, William Davis died in 1860. He was 36 yrs. old at the time. I also know he was born March 7, 1824 in TN. They homesteaded in Polk County, MO. Parts of Polk County were to become a part of Dallas County in 1850. Margaret (Montgomery) Davis remarried after Williams death to a David Morrow.
