My grandfather Charles O NUTTER married my grandmother Lydia Ruanna SALMON December 1900 - they had 3 girls - and he deserted the family and she divorced him in 1914. I have never found a census on this family. They lived in Daviess county. Lydia married again to William Daniel England in 1914 and they had one girl and I have never found them on a census. Any help you may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated. Feb 1872, age 27, single, MO VA TN, farmer 1920 Plymouth, Mass Census: NUTTER, Charles O., head, age 48, single, MASS Margi [Marri?], SISTER, single, MASS There's a Charles F. in Hillsborough, NH that was b. in 1870 in NH Charles A. in Jackson, OR, b. 1872 in Wisconsin Charles NUTER in Bronx, NY, b. 1873 in NJ I looked under Charles NUTTER and NUTER.. as well as Charlie NUTTER/NUTER.. These are you best possibilities... wondering what the "O" stands for..
