When I went to restore the info, the disk corrupted, so I'm *still* re-entering 30 years of hard copy info into a new file. sigh ..... Last night, I pulled out all of my Blankenship/Daviess Co. notebooks to see what I have on Eliza who m. Richard Blankenship. Actually, I think Richard married at least 3 times. (The problem with Richard is that there are 2 Richards listed in the 1830 census that could be the one who went to Daviess Co. - one in Greenup Co., KY & one in Lawrence Co., OH.) Here is a quick outline of what I have for Richard: Descendants of Richard Blankenship 1 Richard Blankenship b: Abt. 1807 in Ohio or Kentucky .. Susannah Miller m: 05 Sep 1829 in Greenup Co., Kentucky ...... 2 George Blankenship b: Abt. 1831 in Ohio ........... Blankenship b: 18 Jan 1833 in Ohio d: 13 Jul 1906 ...... 2 William Blankenship b: 13 Nov 1836 in Kentucky d: 05 Mar 1911 in Pattonsburg, Benton Twp., Daviess Co., Missouri *2nd Wife of Richard Blankenship: .. Rebecca (Liza?) McLantren or McLantun b: Abt. 1812 in Ohio m: 01 Dec 1836 in Greenup Co., Kentucky ...... 2 Rematha Blankenship b: Abt. 1841 in Kentucky ........... Benjamin Brown m: 22 Jan 1863 in Daviess Co., Missouri ...... 2 Alfred Blankenship b: Jan 1842 in Kentucky d: 20 Mar 1895 ........... Mary M. McCulley b: 1851 d: 15 Mar 1883 ...... 2 Agnes R. Gray b: 10 Jul 1843 in Harrison Co., Missouri d: 05 Sep 1919 in Pattonsburg, Benton Twp., Daviess Co., Missouri m: 10 Apr 1865 in Daviess Co., Missouri ...... 2 Elizabeth Blankenship b: Abt. 1849 in Kentucky ...... 2 Willis Blankenship b: 30 Jun 1852 d: 29 Dec 1924 in Benton Twp., Daviess Co., Missouri ........... Julia A. or Julian T. Carter b: 31 Jul 1858 in Tennessee d: 02 Jan 1935 in State Hospital, St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri *3rd Wife of Richard Blankenship: .. Campbell b: in Ohio or Texas m: Abt. 1855 ...... 2 Margaret Blankenship b: 09 Feb 1856 in Daviess Co., Missouri d: 02 Feb 1926 in Pattonsburg, Benton Twp., Daviess Co., Missouri ........... Amaziah Alonzo Graham b: 02 Feb 1852 in Missouri d: 02 Apr 1946 in Pattonsburg, Benton Twp., Daviess Co., Missouri m: 18 Nov 1877 in Daviess Co., Missouri Willis Blankenship's certificate of death states his mother was "Liza McLantern" or "McLantun." Difficult to read. Margaret (Blankenship) Graham's certificate of death states her mother's maiden name as "Campbell." No given name shown. Our special guest will be Miss Hazel Lee Planck, an 80 yr old retired school teacher who started teaching in the country schools in Daviess County. 3. Greetings Lanita, Thanks for taking care of the press release on Jesse James. Also for your commitment to "get some things (ready) for the newsletter." As for sending things privately to me, I am not sure what is wrong with espero2003@msn.com<mailto:espero2003@msn.com> It has been working well for others. However, here are two alternatives for communicating privately; Call (801) 278-4586 and sending things to frankiejhall@msn.com<mailto:frankiejhall@msn.com> Charles ----- Original Message ----- From: Lanita Sconce Smith<mailto:ozarkn@grm.net> To: modavies@rootsweb.com<mailto:modavies@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2007 10:34 AM Subject: [MODAVIES] Frankie and Charles Hall I tried sending to you privately, and your email keeps bouncing. I'll handle the press release on Jesse James since I live in the area and have more access to things that you do. Will get some things to do shortly, for the newsletter.
