    2. Nancee Seifert
    3. I am related to Lavina J. NOAH (McMurtrey), who was a younger sister to Harriet NOAH. I would be interested in any information you might have on HARRIET NOAH and JOHN CLARK.. I'm sorry I can't help you with your request for information, as shown below. Brenda Dirks Walz was kind enough to share her publication "Noah's Ark", with me several years ago. Best Regards, Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert at iggy29@grm.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Date: 01/06/08 21:38:31 To: MODAVIES-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [MODAVIES] LOOKUP needed: Jones and Clark Millinery store inAltamont This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. July ?, 1876 d. between late June- end of Dec. 1900, Sheridan Township, Daviess Co, MO. She was 24 at the time of her death and was a milliner and co-partner in a store in either Windsor or Altamont with a woman by the name of Margaret Jones. The name of the store was Jones and Clark. Phebe was the daughter of John Lewis Clark and Harriet Noah Clark. She served as executor on her mother's estate (ca. Fall/Winter, 1896) until her untimely death. She is last seen living with Margaret Jones & family along with her younger sister, Ester in the 1900 census which was taken in the spring of 1900. I would like to confirm that the shop existed (would have been after 1885-ish to 1890-ish I believe) and I would also like to get a copy of her obit if possible to find out where she is buried. Can anyone help me out?

Jamesport is at the corner of THREE [3] counties, so anything is possible! Lanita

I am looking for decendants of Jesse and Nancy Ellen Adams McCoy from the Washington township, Daviess Co. Missouri area. The 1930's census shows that Nancy E. McCoy was living with her youngest son, William H. McCoy. So far, I know that Jesse died in the early 1920's and Nancy lived until 1941. I think they are buried in the cemetery called Hickory Creek. Also, William H. McCoy ( Jesse and Nancy's youngest child) had sons James P. McCoy, William A. McCoy, and a daughter Nancy E. McCoy. Are there any decendants of these children or even these children living? My connection is through Nancy Ellen Adams McCoy who was a sister to my greatgrandfather Charles Adams who was the son of William Adams (Uncle Billy) all from Daviess Co. I'm the last of this lineage line starting with William Adams down to my family. I'm very interested in knowing any information regarding decendants from Nancy. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MODAVIES-request@rootsweb.com<mailto:MODAVIES-request@rootsweb.com> with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
