AMEON79 - you are fast and accurate. Rebecca (Becca) Mallory was my mother. Lloyd did, indeed, marry Gladys Higdon from Gentry County in 1919, and they moved to Griggsville, Pike County, Illinois where they were enumerated in the 1920 census with daughter Maxine. According to 1923 Divorce papers filed by Gladys in Pike County, Lloyd abandoned her and daughter Maxine in 1922. Those papers were served on Loyd in McFall, Gentry County. Then, in 1923, there is a marriage in Pattonsburg between Loyd Mallory and Iva Mae Brinnen, approved by Iva's mother Dora Brinnen. This is the point at which I lose Loyd. I can't find him in the 1930 census, or in any other documents. My mother always said that the family never knew what happened to him. I was hoping that someone in Daviess County would remember Loyd or Iva Mae Brinnen to help me trace what happened to them. -----Original Message----- From: modavies-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:modavies-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of AMEON79@aol.com Sent: Friday, May 02, 2008 7:01 PM To: modavies@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MODAVIES] Loyd Mallory - Iva Mae Brinnen - Dora Brinnen He registered for the WW1 draft 9-12-1918 and states his nearest relative is J.W. I have a Daviess County marriage license showing that Loyd Mallory and Iva Mae Brinnen were married in Pattonsburg on 2 Aug 1923. The license states that Iva Mae was 17 years old, and her mother, Dora Brinnen, provided a "written assent" for the marriage. I believe this Lloyd Mallory was the son of James and Minerva Mallory, my grandparents, who were living in Pattonsburg in 1917. If that is the case, then Loyd was born in 29 Aug 1899 in nearby Dekalb County. I can't find Loyd or Iva in the 1930 census, and wonder if anyone on this Mailing List recognizes them. Richard Sanders

Looking for information on this Richardson family... I'm 99% sure these are the correct parents for George Allen Richardson, my great grandfather. William F. Richardson and Nancy A. Richardson were in the Daviess Co. Missouri Census 1860, 1880 and 1900. I cannot find them in 1870, nor can I find any death records for them in the Missouri state archives. If anyone knows anything about this family, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you so much for your time. Elisha.....
