FYI, Lynnea and/or Harold in Pueblo: Sarah, Bailey's second wife, was daughter of Robert Allen and Helen Cox, and widow of a Hazelwood. She married Bailey after Susan's death of consumption. Bailey's daughter, Julia, married Sarah's brother, John Christian Allen, my Grandfather. Around 1902, they divorced and she married Joseph Thomason, then had Joe and Julia Thomason. Also, George is buried at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery, where his father, Archibald, is also buried. Archibald died in 1885. Is there a church associated with that cemetery? The Daviess County Genealogical Society will mark its 3rd birthday on Saturday, June 7 at 1:30 pm, at the Sheriff’s Home of the Squirrel Jail. All members and prospective members are invited.
