Hi, Margaret - Noticed your name list, and just wondered if you knew whether your Wright had any connection to Hezekiah Wright Enyart of the Pattonsburg area. He and his family were early settlers in the first part of the 19th century. I think there was also a Baber in the family line - at least, I seem to recall that one of the other kids had Baber as a middle name. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EKB.2ACE/759 Message Board Post: My name is Johnny Wilburn and I am conducting a genealogy project for my family. I have been doing this project for almost 3 years. I have found that my great-grandfather Henderson Wilburn was involved in a group of buswackers or guerillas during the Civil War. He was in a group with a Captain Joe Kirk and a Major William Peery that was killed during the war. The last known place that my great-grandfather was mentioned in Missouri was in 1862 in Livingston County, Missouri. In which he was involved in a skirmish with Federal troops. What I am wondering is how do I get a hold of a genealogical society in your area? How far back does your newspaper go in that area? Who can help find some answers to what happened to him after the war? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Johnny Wilburn
