Hi Gary, I have been working with Polly Ehlen also. I got the clue for South Dakota, when Alexander Hoover stated on his marriage certificate that he was from Hoover, Butte, SD. So I decided to look in South Dakota for some of the Hoover's and that was how I found the book. The only thing is, the Library here does not have many books for each county. There were no Marriage Books or Burials. What information I found, was mostly from the census. I did find on the LDS records, that Alexander Hoover was supposed to have died Jan 20, 1924 in Tulare, California. But I don't know how to prove it. And of course I have not found anything on Julia Melvina Howe's death date. Rick - there is also an Ida Bell Gregg 1873-1948 that married Charles William Hoover 1874-1952. Do you have her in your data base? Let me know what you need. I do have my data ready to put together for you, if you want it. It took me longer than I thought it would. God Bless, Colleen Oliver Researching: Chapman, Cheek, Stafford, Wingo and others. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Swift" <gswift@ix.netcom.com> To: "Frederick W.
