Who put it together and can it be bought? Becky Hello Becky - The booklet is entitled "Death Notices from The Buffalo Reflex, Dallas County, MO, 1869-1885" by Larry A. Beach, Rt. 1 Box 370, Long Lane, MO 65590 (11-27-96). I bought mine last year from the Dallas County Historical Society in Buffalo. It is inexpensive (under $10 if I remember correctly). The booklet is not comprehensive by any stretch of the imagination. It only has about 150 names for the entire period. Also, the information is very limited. That being said, I am still glad I bought the book. I believe in rewarding and encouraging people to compile and publish such books. I live in Hawaii and obviously cannot get over to the Dallas County library too often to look it up for myself. There is also another booklet entitled "Dallas County Missouri Death Register 1883-1893" copied by Leni Howe. It is also available from the Dallas County Historical Society, P. O. Box 594, Buffalo, MO 65622. Don't forget to check out the Dallas County website maintained by Gary Swift. He has posted connections re: publications for Dallas County. Rick Gregg
